Welcome to the Chestnut Hill Reservoir Conservancy

We are an all volunteer nonprofit organization.
Our Mission
The Chestnut Hill Reservoir Conservancy is dedicated to caring for and enhancing Cassidy Playground and Park, the Chestnut Hill Reservation, and the surrounding neighborhoods. As stewards of these shared green spaces, we strengthen them through volunteer action, grant support, technical expertise, thoughtful advocacy, and sustainable improvements—always prioritizing both the visitor experience and long-term environmental health.
Our mission also includes enriching the community through cultural and educational programs, creating ongoing opportunities to learn about local history, nature, conservation, and recreation. We are committed to the long-term vitality of the area by replanting trees, maintaining trails, reducing erosion, and protecting wildlife habitat, ensuring these landscapes remain healthy, welcoming, and resilient for generations to come.
You can be part of this work. Whether you volunteer your time, share your expertise, support our efforts, or simply spend time caring for these spaces, your involvement makes a real difference. Together, we can ensure the Reservoir and surrounding parks continue to thrive as places of beauty, connection, and belonging.
